One of the most beautiful attributes of God is diversity. We thank God for this fact because life would get pretty boring if every person was exactly the same. In addition, according to 1 Corinthians 12, God has assembled His body out of unique people from every stage of life. Both young and old, rich and poor, hurting or healed – all are to be part of the same group known as the Church. We believe in fact, that the strength and effectiveness of the Church is directly related to it’s level of diversity.
It is for this reason that we offer a multitude of different groups and ministries at Calvary Chapel East. It is not our desire to divide the body, but rather meet each unique person at the very place they stand.
